Uninstall User Agent

This guide describes the procedures for uninstalling the Kabeen agent on different supported platforms.

Uninstall on Windows

Via Control Panel

1. Open the Control Panel
2. Click on Programs and Features
3. Search for Kabeen Agent in the list
4. Right-click and select Uninstall
5. Follow the wizard instructions

Via Command Line (Silent Mode)

For silent uninstallation, run as administrator:

msiexec /x {PRODUCT_CODE} /qn

Or if you have the original MSI file:

msiexec /x kabeen-agent.msi /qn

Via GPO

To uninstall the agent across the entire fleet via GPO:

1. Open the Group Policy Management console
2. Edit the deployment GPO
3. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Policies > Software Settings > Software Installation
4. Right-click the Kabeen package and select All Tasks > Remove
5. Choose Immediately uninstall the software

Uninstall on macOS

Via Finder

1. Open Finder
2. Navigate to Applications
3. Drag Kabeen Agent to Trash
4. Empty Trash

Via Terminal

sudo rm -rf /Applications/Kabeen\ Agent.app
sudo rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Kabeen
sudo rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/io.kabeen.*

Via Jamf Pro

1. Create a new policy in Jamf Pro
2. Add an uninstallation script
3. Assign to target computer groups

Remove Browser Extension

After uninstalling the native agent, also remove the browser extension:

Chrome

1. Click the three dots > Extensions > Manage Extensions
2. Find Kabeen and click Remove

Edge

1. Click the three dots > Extensions
2. Find Kabeen and click Remove

Firefox

1. Click the menu > Add-ons and themes
2. Extensions tab > Find Kabeen > Remove

Data Cleanup

After uninstallation, local data can be cleaned up:

Windows

rmdir /s /q "%APPDATA%\Kabeen"
reg delete "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Kabeen" /f

macOS

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Kabeen
defaults delete io.kabeen.agent

Verification

After uninstallation, verify that:

• The Kabeen icon no longer appears in the taskbar/menu
• No Kabeen service is listed in the service manager
• The extension has been removed from browsers
