Deploy User Agent via Intune
The Kabeen agent can be automatically deployed to all user workstations using Microsoft Intune
The Kabeen agent can be automatically deployed to all user workstations using Microsoft Intune. This procedure takes place in two distinct phases and requires administrator rights on your Microsoft 365 tenant.
Prerequisites
- Administrator rights on Microsoft 365 and Intune
- Intune Endpoint Manager licenses for all affected workstations
- Organization configured in Kabeen with defined teams
- Corresponding user groups in Entra ID
Process Overview
Deployment is done in 2 main steps:
- MSI Installation: Undifferentiated deployment of the agent on all workstations
- Team Configuration: Specific configuration for each team via ADMX profiles
Important: Intune deployment times are 24 to 48 hours.
Step 1: Download and Deploy MSI Package
- Log in to your Kabeen platform
- Navigate to the Agent Tracking menu
- Click Download Package
- Select the desired variant for your deployment
Line-of-Business Application Deployment
- Log in to the Intune manager
- Go to Applications > All Applications > Add
- Select application type Line-of-business app
- Click Select app package file and upload the downloaded MSI
- Fill in required information: Publisher: Kabeen
- In the Assignments tab: Required section: Add affected computer or user groups
Step 2: Configuration via ADMX
Import Configuration Template (ADMX)
- Log in to Intune manager
- Go to Devices > Configurations > Import ADMX > Import
- First import Windows.admx (required dependency)
- Then import Kabeen.admx
Retrieve Configuration Parameters

| Team UUID | In Kabeen, Agent Tracking menu > Go to settings |
Create Configuration Profiles
Important: Create one profile per team with consistent naming.
- Go to Devices > Configurations > Create > New Policy
- Select Platform Windows 10 and later / Type: Templates / Name: Imported administrative template
- Configure settings: Set API Key, Set Structure UUID, Set Team UUID
- In Assignments: Select the corresponding user group
Verify Deployment
A properly deployed agent is visible:
- Taskbar: Kabeen native agent icon
- Installed applications: Kabeen Agent in the programs list
- Browser extensions: Kabeen extension in browser settings
