This release mainly improves agent stability on Windows, MSI update reliability, and browser extension management.
Migration to ExtensionSettings (instead of ExtensionInstallForcelist) for more robust forced installation and fewer policy conflicts (GPO/EDR).
The installer now automatically closes Kabeen.exe and proxy.exe during upgrade/uninstall to avoid lockups caused by running processes.
Adjusted the installation action sequence to make the update flow more reliable.
In silent/passive mode (/qn, etc.), the agent can be launched automatically at the end of installation (can be disabled via MSI property if needed).
Added a circuit breaker with exponential backoff and request timeouts to avoid aggressive reconnection loops when the agent is unavailable.
Caching of user_id on the system service side to limit repeated script executions (especially on Windows).

We are constantly seeking innovation to help you improve your application management and tracking. We are excited to introduce our latest feature: Usage Discovery: This new feature provides automatic insight into which teams are using applications within your organization.
Automatic usage discovery relies on our Kabeen agent deployed on user workstations. This agent tracks application usage in real-time, and when user activity is detected, Kabeen updates the application's "Usage" tab.
This feature allows you to visualize real-time application usage across your entire organization, facilitating the process of managing and maintaining your application mapping.
To ensure data accuracy, this feature requires confirmation from a Kabeen administrator to validate adding a team to an application. This step is crucial:
Integrating an application into the team's mapping highlights the application in the Kabeen agent favorites.
The business matrix will then display this team as a "user" of the application.
It is entirely possible that the detected usage is temporary and that the team does not use the application on an ongoing basis.
This feature will strengthen your tracking by showing which teams frequently use specific applications. It helps identify key applications that support your business processes.
It will be particularly beneficial in environments where projects and team roles are dynamic, making it difficult to track constantly evolving application usage patterns. It will also ensure your application mapping stays up to date.
Automatic Usage Discovery is already available on the Kabeen platform. To start using this feature, visit the "Usage" tab of your applications.

The Application Roadmap is a new report available in Kabeen that groups all your applications and their lifecycles.
From this view, you can:
Identify and track applications being deployed and associated phases such as planning an integration or developing a new business software.
Anticipate contract expirations to conduct your tenders on time or calmly renew the best applications.
Build your master plan and your organization's digital strategy for the next 3, 5, or 10 years.
Like all reports available in Kabeen, the Application Roadmap has filters to help you focus on the elements that matter to you:
By default, we only display applications for which the lifecycle has been specified.
This new view helps you effectively manage your information system transformation and clearly communicate your IT strategy.

Discover the new Kabeen user onboarding, designed to instantly immerse you in operational efficiency.
Our revamped integration process now includes user agent deployment, a key step that activates the power of application autodiscovery.

Our latest update allows you to automatically generate a new view of your applications. The application matrix enables comparison of application usage between teams or business units according to each category.
It then becomes possible to distinguish unique usages or, conversely, redundant applications in your information system.
Like our other automatic analyses, filters are available, guiding your focus to the right place.
The export of this matrix, just like the flow diagram, is natively integrated.
A small bonus: The applications appear with their criticality badge!

Tracking an application's lifecycle was one of the most requested features.
Each application now has a status (phase in, deployed, phase out, or decommissioned) which allows you to:
Without specific information, an application adopts an "active" status by default from:
This feature allows you to better manage your application portfolio and anticipate changes in your information system.

We're excited to introduce a significant update to how Kabeen measures application operational health metrics.
We've now switched from synthetic probes to a user-focused perspective.
By using real user monitoring instead of synthetic transactions, we generate a more pertinent and accurate representation of application health.
This shift means that the metrics we now offer are based on actual end-user experiences, ensuring that system health evaluations align more closely with real-world performances.
The advantage of this approach is twofold:
These updates will vastly improve usability and the overall user experience in Kabeen.

You now have the ability to generate a PDF document of your flow diagrams directly from Kabeen.
This offers unprecedented ease of sharing, whether for presentations, reports, or discussions with your teams.
The exported file retains all the detailed information of the diagram for a comprehensive view of your application structure.

Introducing a new feature from Kabeen that enriches your application inventory by allowing you to attach physical documents or linked URLs.
This could include:
There's no limit to how many documents you can add to each application.
If your document is hosted in a Document Management System (DMS) or in a web application, you can also add it in the form of a link within Kabeen.
This ensures all your relevant documentation is in one place, aiding productivity and streamlining processes.
This feature allows you to centralize all documentation related to your applications, making it easier for all stakeholders to access information.

We are excited to present our new navigation. Continuously seeking to simplify the use of our platform, we have redesigned the menu organization and introduced an expanded version that offers greater clarity.
This new configuration was designed to give you a more complete overview and immediate access to all sections.
It has also allowed us to centralize all help and support in a single point. You can now find all documentation resources, training, or chat in the same place.
This navigation redesign significantly improves the user experience and allows you to find what you're looking for more quickly.

We have taken your feedback into account to redesign the automatically generated application map in Kabeen.
It is now possible to group applications according to your choice:
You can hide data flows for a more condensed and readable diagram.
This flexibility allows you to adapt the visualization to your needs:
These improvements make the map more readable and more useful for communicating with stakeholders.

Additionally, this new interface offers greater flexibility in defining user groups. You can now create, modify, and manage user groups with unprecedented ease.
Explore this new page and enjoy the simplicity and flexibility it offers.
Some organizations prefer to analyze their IT through geographic establishments (sales offices, factories, etc). This is now possible.
International deployment complicates reading the information system. We offer the possibility to structure user groups by regions or countries.
This flexibility allows you to adapt Kabeen to your organization's actual structure.

We have initiated foundational work aimed at displaying all your metrics in real-time. This is a significant advancement that will allow us to deliver value very quickly through monitoring key IT indicators.
We started with usage indicators, including the number of users per application.
Now, you can see these data update as soon as an employee uses an application.
This is just the beginning, and we look forward to offering real-time updates of other key metrics in the future.
