Prism assistant

Overview

Prism is the conversational assistant embedded in the Kabeen platform. It relies on Kabeen AI to answer your questions, navigate your information system and run management actions (creating, updating, linking objects) without leaving the interface.

Prism is designed as a copilot specialized in IS management, anchored to the actual data of your tenant: it never "talks" about applications, teams or costs that do not exist in your workspace.

What Prism can do

Explore the mapping

• List applications by category, criticality, status or functional domain
• Fetch the detailed page of an application, server, data object or team
• Display the organization tree and the related responsibilities
• Consult application flows and the links between components

Analyze usage and costs

• Measure the adoption of an application (active users, time of use, satisfaction)
• Identify redundant or underused applications
• Summarize annual costs by perimeter (team, category, criticality)
• Spot applications whose user health is deteriorating

Act on the repository

• Create an application, a server or a data object
• Update the metadata of an existing record
• Link an application to a server or a data domain
• Set or change the owners of a resource

Manage discovered applications

• List the candidate applications surfaced by auto-discovery
• Search the Kabeen catalog to qualify a proposal
• Onboard a discovered application into your inventory in one go

Documentation and contextual help

• Answer questions on how the platform works
• Point to the relevant documentation articles
• Guide the deployment of agents (user, infrastructure, browser extension)

Where to find Prism

Prism is available from several surfaces:

• The global chat from any page
• The side panels of application, team, server or flow pages: Prism then knows the visible entity and can reason from its context
• The dashboards where Prism can produce focused analyses

Scope and limits

Scope

Prism only answers questions related to information system management: application portfolio, infrastructure, organization, data, architecture, security, compliance, operation of Kabeen agents.

Deliberate limits

• Prism never invents an application, a cost or a user: if the information is not in your tenant, it says so explicitly.
• Destructive actions (deleting objects, mass updates) require explicit confirmation.
• Your account permissions apply: Prism does not bypass your access rights. Data that is invisible to you is also invisible to it.

Privacy and hosting

Exchanges are processed by default via Mistral, our French AI provider, on a GDPR-compliant infrastructure. None of your tenant data is used to train third-party models.

You stay in control of the Kabeen AI features: application auto-discovery, feature auto-discovery and the Prism assistant can be enabled or disabled independently from the workspace settings.
