Infrastructure networks
Logically group your instances and servers by IP address range using infrastructure networks
Infrastructure networks let you logically group instances and servers by IP address range. This helps you structure your infrastructure mapping by bringing together machines that share the same allocated range.
Create an infrastructure network
Create an infrastructure network matching the address range allocated to you, using standard CIDR notation (for example /24 or /29).
Fields to fill in
Fill in the following two fields:
- Network address: the address of the allocated range.
- Mask: the mask of the range, in CIDR notation (for example
/24,/29).
Benefits
Grouping instances from the same range helps you structure your infrastructure mapping. You gain a consistent view of the servers that belong to the same network, which makes your inventory easier to organize and read.
