Your application inventory is evolving to better reflect the reality of your information system: the applications circulating in your organisation without going through IT now have a place in Kabeen, and you decide what to do with them.
Three statuses to qualify your applications
Every application in your portfolio can now be qualified with a status: Validated, Tolerated or Refused.
You can clearly distinguish between officially approved applications, those whose use is accepted without being encouraged, and those you want to exclude from your IS.
The inventory is browsed by tab, one per status, and the Archives space shows whether an application came from the inventory or from discovery.
A Discovery space to sort out what comes up from the field
The new Discovery space gathers the applications detected across your estate, before they even enter your inventory.
You can process them:
- one at a time in card view, by keyboard or with a single click
- all at once in list view
Each detected application comes with its recent usage, its number of users and the reason it was detected, so you can decide knowingly: validate it, tolerate it or refuse it.
A clear and controlled view of your portfolio
By qualifying detected applications instead of ignoring them, you keep an accurate view of your application portfolio while identifying the new usages emerging in your organisation.
Statuses and the Discovery space are available now in the Applications section of Kabeen.
